Alejandra Bastardo is a Venezuelan native with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning, and post graduate studies in Business Administration. She has successfully led projects related with standardization and innovation of processes and services of diverse natures: administrative, customer care, technological, and industrial. She has proven community involvement and social responsibility. Alejandra is Bilingual (English/Spanish). She is a Seasoned speaker at women’s events (English and Spanish).

In 2001, my family decided to come to the United States of America looking for new opportunities and new horizons… I know how it feels to have ideas that you cannot communicate appropriately because of a language barrier, I have felt intimidated filling out a form in a language I do not excel at, I have felt insecure when I need a careful translation of an important document… I do appreciate the power of words, well said and written!”

Juan José Bastardo is a Logistics & Trade Compliance management professional with more than 17 years of progressive experience and a proven track record of delivering quality solutions in areas of International Transportation and Trade Compliance. He has a master’s degree in Management and Logistics (Spain) and in Management (Venezuela). Juan José is accomplished in planning projects from concept through production and has strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.

I spent long nights translating the notes of my fellow classmates word by word, and I did my first speech one month after I arrived there.
